Pit Remediation

Our pit remediation services are clean and safe. We are committed to taking a proactive approach with every client's project. Initially, we take a sample of the cuttings and send them to a 3rd party state certified laboratory for TPH (Total % Hydrocarbons) testing. While we await the results, we begin treating the pit by assessing the amount of proprietary chemical needed and begin mixing the oil-based cuttings and native soils throughout the pit using our equipment. During this process we will spray our first set or more of chemicals, depending on volume of cuttings and TPH level results; this part of the process takes up to 2 days' time. Soon after, we attach our "SlashBuster," a high revolution mixing attachment, which evenly mixes the cuttings and native soils together. This process enhances our production and environmental treatment time. Process timeline from start to finish is 4 to 8 weeks.
